Country House with a Barbecue

One of the best things about Casa Hechizo is its fabulous barbecue: we have a great time making it and eating it. Here's how we do it, step by step.
1. Put some music on
First things first: music. There's a Google Home speaker on the porch and a Spotify account already connected in case you want to use it. Just say "Hey Google, play Shakira" to get going. If you'd rather connect your phone to the house wifi and play your own music, you can do that too.
2. Light the fire
Then we grab a few beers and move on to lighting the fire. The barbecue takes both charcoal and wood. We leave you a bag of charcoal and some firewood in the chest on the porch, although we recommend charcoal: we prefer the flavour it gives. There are firelighters and a chimney starter if you like doing it that way.
3. On with the food
Whatever you fancy: vegetables, chorizo, morcilla, a few slices of pork belly, Iberian pork, T-bone steak, lamb chops, chicken wings... and a provolone cheese, for which we leave you some small pans that are just right.
In the kitchen you'll find metal trays to bring the meat out and all the tongs and utensils you need. You can open or close the lid depending on how smoky you want it, and raise or lower the charcoal for more or less direct heat.
4. A little snack
While the barbecue cooks, we recommend a choripán to nibble on while you chat. If there are Argentinians in the group, they'll know what to do; if not, it's simply a chorizo sandwich... or pork belly, which works too.
5. Dinner's ready!
It's almost done and the smell alone makes your mouth water. There's room at the porch table for the whole group: sit down, enjoy the barbecue and give the grill master a round of applause!
Besides the barbecue, the house has a trampoline, mini golf, table football, karaoke and much more. See everything you can do in Fun & activities or check availability and book.
